What you need to know
- There is no universal reset clock for every Codex user.
- Your account may show more than one allowance window.
- A full reset can change the next weekly reset date.
Find the authoritative time
Open Settings → Usage and identify which allowance is exhausted. Copy the displayed date and time, including its timezone if shown.
Convert without guessing
Use the calculator on the homepage. A datetime entered on your device is interpreted in your device timezone and stays in your browser.
If access does not return
Refresh Usage after the stated time. Confirm the active account and workspace before contacting OpenAI Support.
